T.I. & Tiny: Giving Back

The kids in the Harris household have very demanding Christmas gift lists. And in Monday (Dec. 17) night’s season finale of The Family Hustle, T.I. decides to teach his kids the importance of giving back. Also, T.I. wanted to show them what it takes for him and their money to supply their wants.

But before all of that goes down, Tiny gives her mother a check to pay of her mortgage for Christmas. Tiny’s mom is overjoyed and it definitely was very heartfelt.

So the Harris family takes time out to give back to the community by passing out turkeys. After that, they go on a promo tour with T.I., in which he visits 3 different cities. The kids have fun and are exhausted at the same time. When they get back home, Major and a couple of the others are down for the count.

We’re back in Anguilla as Monday (Dec. 17) night’s episode of Real Housewives of ATL picks back up with Kenya asking Phaedra the famous (disrespectful) question: “If you could give Apollo 2 of your friends for his birthday, who would they be?” Phaedra cuts her off real quick calling her out for being disrespectful. Cynthia sides with Phaedra immediately. However, Kenya tries to brush it off saying she was kidding.

NeNe plans a girls’ night where all the girls can come out to relax. Things seem to be going fine until NeNe asks Porsche and Kenya exactly what happened between them. Porsche tells everyone how she felt about Kenya’s attitude at the charity event and you know what happens next. <em>Kenya goes off!</em> Then, it turns into a shouting match with Kenya calling Porsche a b**** several times (kinda reminds you when Jackie Christie kept calling Draya a ho on BBWLA.

Things get pretty close to blows between the ladies, but Phaedra, NeNe, and Cynthia step in to break them up. After Kenya goes on her rant about how she is 40 and fabulous, <em>she twirls… and twirls…. and twirls back to her room.</em>

Okay… what was up with all of that twirling? Kenya is crazy! Bonafide crazy! I know me and my sister rewinded the ending several times, and we were laughing hard, especially when Phaedra was like, “You better preach, girl.” Phaedra says some slick, side-handed stuff sometimes, but it’s hilarious. Like when she called Peter a “Black Angel.” I was rolling! Love Phaedra!

Am I the only one who missed the cast of Love And Hip Hop Atlanta? As soon as I saw Joseline Hernendez, Stevie J, and MiMi appear on the television screen I just busted out laughing. Yes, the ATL cast is the definition of ratchetness (I don’t like that word by the way), but I love them. I love seeing them on television, and I can’t wait until we are watching their crazy lives unfold in front of us again.

On Sunday (Dec. 16) night, VH1 aired a LHHATL special where they showed some behind the scenes footage of season one. There was also a sit down with all of the cast members about how they felt about the show and the scenes that they saw on their fancy IPads.

We saw a lot of revealing moments including the big fight between Stevie J, Scrappy, Erica, and Joseline. It was revealed that Joseline was the one who threw the first punch when she mushed Erica in the face.
